WNW Sneak Peek + 5 Thanksgiving Card Ideas!

What’s NEW Wednesday: Sneak Peek for Wednesday, November 16th

As promised, here are some of the highlights of this week’s What’s NEW Wednesday arrivals! “Bauble” is of course, the UK term for ornament, and UK-based Tonic Studios has just released these beautiful, versatile bauble dies. I love the idea of creating handmade, die cut ornaments, and these allow you to create as many as you want!

Our in-house design team has used them in some wonderful ways, creating ornaments, cards and even a page! You’ll be able to see all of these ideas and more during our upcoming Thanksgiving Bonus Webisode that will be airing on Thanksgiving, November 24th!

Surprise!

These dies create a wondrous little gift box that pops out from your card inside, revealing a gift card, cash or other treat! I love this idea!!! Don’t miss these new items and more—available tomorrow on What’s NEW Wednesday.

Now as promised, here are five gorgeous cards that share this season’s message in five different ways.

LeNae’s “Many Thanks” card has been one of my favorites this season! She placed her Framed Leaves Dazzles™ on Double-Sided Adhesive, and then sprinkled with Crystal Microglitter. After burnishing the microglitter, she actually COLORED her her glitter with Spectrum Noir™ markers for the stunning, sparkling look below!

Here’s another one I’ve been saving all year—Susan created this “So Very Grateful” card when we released our Botanical Leaves Stamps & Botanical Leaves Cutting Dies, and it’s a truly elegant look that would work especially well for a male recipient!

If you love embossing folders, and the dimension they create, check out Debbie’s “Thanks” card below! She used Hot Off The Press’ Thanks & Tree Embossing Folder, and inked the design with StazOn® Metallic Copper Ink! She then matted the pieces on Metallic Gold Specialty Paper and added Gold Jewel Dazzles™. What a quick way to get such a luxurious look!

Our next card idea features a lovely wreath that Debbie created using Hot Off The Press’ Viney Wreath Stencil. She inked her wreath, flowers and bow using a variety of Distress inks; then layered the pieces with foam tape! The quote is from Zen Leaves Dazzles™ Stickers.

Here’s another adorable card from Debbie, and she created this one just for the blog! This time her metallic look comes from Mirror Dazzles™ Sheets. These come in set of 10 different colors and are PERFECT for die cutting!

Debbie also used some of my other favorites on this card—Hot Off The Press’ Truck O’ Goodies Cutting Dies; Birch Trees Stencil (for the background) and the patterned papers are from the Cider Artful Card Kit!

This week we’re also saying “Thank YOU!” with our Thanks & Giving Promotion—use promo code THX2016 to take 20% off the highest priced item in your order! Good through November 19th!
