You are way too hard on yourself. I don't work anymore, so I have a lot more crafting time than you do! It also comes in waves and spurts, depending on how I'm doing physically. I do have way too many stamps, HOTP and otherwise. I was forced to organize when I won 80+ stamp sets from another company. I am working hard on not putting anything away until it has been cataloged and used - that just means I have a large basket of stuff! I'm getting more strict with myself about what I buy - don't tell anyone, but the new stamp sets don't really speak to me. I did get a few of the new small ones though - that monkey really is to cute!
I'm glad you are playing along - like I posted, no timeline!
Even though I have no hope of keeping up with you, I'm really glad you started it. I have a lot of sets that I've never used, so this is motivating me to get them out of the packages. I don't have nearly as many as you, though. I used to think that stamping was cheating, so I haven't been collecting them for very many years. I don't think that anymore! There are so many really neat things you can do with them and I have to agree, I love the resist technique.
Judy, thanks for all the comments on my cards. I am really enjoying working through my stamps. I'm noticing though that resist is my favorite technique - and I'm ok with that! I've taken a few on-line classes and they have helped me to stretch myself which I think is also terrific! I'm glad you are playing along with me - I now put everything new in a basket and I can't put it away until I've used it - I'm a little dismayed at how much is in the basket. This challenge is helping me to go back and learn to love some long forgotten stamp sets.
