Thank you for your comments on my 3D cards. I buy 3D sheets that include all the images and pieces of images but you have to cut them all out. I buy Le Suh images in 3D from Simply Special. The language is Dutch. In January, they had a big sale and I got 50% discounts. they are fairly expensive. there are some pre-cut images, but they aren't very interesting. Once I started cutting (with Cutterbee scissors) I was hooked. You are supposed to use tiny, tiny foam squares for the 3D effect. I'm still learning.

Penny that is too funny! Please tell me you don't go to Trekkie conventions dressed up as a Klingon or Vulcan?? LOL Those kinds of Trekkies are too extreme. BTW you do have a life! One filled with the joy of crafting...the next best thing to heaven. Time to go play. I just got some alcohol inks. I found them at the local craft store and I was so giddy to see them and I bought a few. Now I want to have some messy fun experimenting with them. TTYL

Thanks for the reply! I looked at the March instructions and the posted step by step photos and that's really a cool way to use scraps or to create coordinated pieces easily! Love it! Will have to use this technique soon!

    Penny:

I loved your Scrapbooking Friends page. I think its cool you are a Trekkie cause I am too. My favorite series was The Next Generation. I tried to get into DS9 and Voyager, but I was not so much into those. They were too different from TNG. Did you see the latest Star Trek movie? It was phenomenal. I know they are working on a sequel coming soon. I can't wait!

Penny, I'm glad you like my Christmas cards. I've had a lot of fun making them. Once I've gotten the hang of using the PW cards & punchouts & such, it's been fairly quick and a lot of fun.

Penny, Thanks for your comments on my cards & other projects. I'm glad you liked them. I just got my alcohol inks and have LOVED using them -- especially on vellum. I have a feeling that I may use more vellum in the future than I ever have! I find I love the look of border punches, too. Those multi-punches are REALLY HIGH on my wish list!
