Box I made

Here is a pic of a fancy box I made for my daughter who lives in Phoenix, AZ. We don't get to see each other very often anymore so I try to send her something special at Christmas. I'm kind of stumped as what to put on the top of the cover. It needs something, just not sure what.
Also I have exclusively used PW products, all except the beads around the outside. :)
I plan on filling all the little drawers with goodies. Just something fun.

Beautiful Jackie. I have made a couple of things like this, but not as big as yours and Nyoka is right - a lot of work ! But your daughter will absolutely LOVE it - and all the little surprises inside.

So cute Jackie!

Awesome! I don't think I'd have the patience to make some thing like this. Your daughter's going to love it. Bet she leaves it out so every one can enjoy it. Judi

Wow! I have never seen anything like it! I am so impressed! Such an interesting and complicated project. I LOVE IT.

Maybe a drapery tassel on too? Something rich and tactile? Or make a "rooftop" to cover the top, but I don't know how you would do that without inhibiting the mechanism of opening it.

Maybe use the VersaMarker Pen or the really sticky double sided tape (really narrow) and then dust it with that ultra fine white sparkling glitter to give it a snowy rooftop effect and some added glam(not that it needs more).

Whatever you do, including nothing, it is beautiful and your daughter will feel very loved when she receives it!

it's not as difficult as it looks. If a 7 yr old can do it you can too.

Your box is gorgeous and I don't think it needs anything on top. It is perfect the way you have it.

Lovely project Jackie - you did a wonderful job! I think I'd be inclined to just attach a pretty Christmas-y tag that maybe had a fav picture of both of you on it!

Wow, Jackie, that's just spectacular. Your daughter will love it and all the little goodies hidden away in the drawers. Such an impressive project....kudos to you!
