quick reply

I can not seem to use the quick reply way to post. Whenever I try I am told that I do not have permission. I am signed in when this happens. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kim

Hmmm... not a clue. I use it sometimes without a problem. Hopefully Huston will see your post and will help you.

Hi Dizzy that happens me quite a bit, what I do is copy what I written, refresh the page, log in again & then paste in the quick reply box. I don't know why it happens but at least this why you don't lose what you've typed!!

I am a slow typist and this happens to me all the time-- I get timed out. I just do what supermum suggested.

It also does this to me in the advanced type of posts and in the private message system. Sometimes I have to retype things because it loses them when it times me out.

The session timeout was set to 15 minutes. I went ahead and set it 30 minutes. Let me know if you continue to have this problem and we can try and figure out some other options.

Thank you, Huston! I'm a fast typist as a rule, but if I'm typing a long message or attaching a photo & want to decrease its size first, I've occasionally had trouble in the past. This definitely should help! :D It's wonderful to see MB management so responsive to the needs of the members! This is a very special MB!

Thanks Huston! That should help me out a lot! :)
