Connie, no a blog is not the same as an album where you put pictures...Check out the "members blog" thread in the general swaps section and you can click on the blog links and see what a blog is!
We will have something on how to do a blog in a bit...

In the meantime, to create an album, while you are logged in all you have to do is click on "all albums" at the top, then on "add album" and name it whatever you like, then click on "upload pictures" ...then just browse to where you have your pictures ...holler if you have any trouble!!

Default I'm officially a blogger!

I have a blog now. I still have a lot of work to do on it but it's up. WOW I never realized how much time it takes.

KarenLiz: Again, Wow! I've only looked at a handful of the blogs that the different crafters on this mb have, but seeing as you and Jen have both recently joined doing this, I'm going to give considerable thought about starting one too.

I like having my creative outlets like papercrafting, playing piano, singing in church choir, writing an article each week for a local weekly newspaper,...and doing a creative blog would definitely 'fit the bill' for me.

Your work is always fantastic!

Rexexie - Its a lot of work to set it all up. I'm hoping to only post mostly on Sundays. I want it to be fun and not a job. It's been fun figuring out what to post next.

It does take work to set it up and understand how to use the different functions, but once its running, thats it!

Jen and KarenLiz: you've both given me lots to consider--thanks for advice and input; I guess I first want to think about my point of view/perspective would be so that I could stick with that approach in order to make it 'easy' for each time I post.

I'm thinking also about limiting the number of postings each week, too, to make sure this is do-able (and fun) and doesn't become a chore (like laundry!)...

Yes Rebexie - don't put too many restrictions on yourself - you want to keep it fun. There are months when I post a couple of times a week, and there are months when I might just get one thing up. This is a personal blog, not a business!
