Another thing kind of related to this is that I also want to do is put pics or a list of all the stuff (stamps, dies, etc.) on my PHONE so when I'm actually out shopping I can double check and avoid duplicates before I buy them again (not that I ever actually do that of course )

I'm pondering how to figure out exactly which manufacturer a lot of my clear stamps are from...unfortunately they don't all show anywhere on the backing sheet and I rarely keep the outside packaging, just no room.

You are right that PW stamp sets are bigger than the CD cases. However, I now leave my stamp sets on their backing sheets and cut the set in half to fit into the cases. Sam, I also now write the manufacturers name on the stamp sheet when I open it and if I cut them apart, I write it on both pieces.

I think the easiest way to get started organizing is to start with what you have that is new and when you find the system that works best you can go back and do your older stamps. I keep my new stamps in a basket - I don't catalog or put them away until I've used them. This is a new system for me - when I did all my stamps, I found TONS I'd never used!

Linda, I'm working on my die collection as well as my punches. I bought a punch that I already had - which is maddening. I have a small book I made to keep track of supplies, but have slipped in keeping it up!

I'm good about the organizing thing - it's the follow through that I need to work on!

Oh Sam, I found the app for you if you have an iPhone or iPad. It's called MyStuff2 and it's only $4.99. I've been playing with it this evening and so far, it's great! It takes a little setting up, but once you have that done, all you have to do is scan a barcode and it fills in most of the information you'll need including a picture. Of course, if you don't have a barcode, you can fill it in manually. VERY cool! I'm still playing with the free version and haven't loaded it on my iPhone yet, but I think I'm going to be buying this one very soon.

Will definitely check that one out Judy! Thank you!!! I've loaded my die spreadsheets I keep (one for steel dies from assorted mfrs, and one for sizzix dies) to my Android phone with Polaris Office but this sounds better!!!

Oh ... and Rhonda ...

I've been busy the last few days. In my album I uploaded pictures of a take out menu book I made using Bohemian Sarapapers and several sets of stamps. I also posted my third card from the Bold Pattern set (I made my goal for that set, yeah! ). I also posted a card using Matching Borders and Focals and another with Just a Greeting stamps.

P.S. The Bold Pattern stamp set is on Mom's Warehouse sale right now - take another look at it!

Love the takeout book and the Dad card -- no Mexican food tab though, LOL!!!
