As far as what I'm working on....I've been making a few cards and cutting paper. The girls are coming over Wed. and we're making the Wedding favors. They are coasters made from ceramic tiles, scrapbook papers and modge podge, a monogram stamp and acrylic finish. Since there was plenty of scrapbook paper left I have been making matching Thank You cards for my daughter. I prepare things ahead of time and assemble them while I watch TV.

My card making friend has been away for many weeks but we got together tonight to "play" a bit. I didn't make anything, but I DID get to see this month's Personal Shopper Die set and the newsletter. GORGEOUS!

I made 8 gorgeous cards for my family who did so much for my Mom's memorial camp out and burial of the ashes at the cemetery a couple of weeks ago. It was everything she said she wanted so that was nice. So to decompress from that I made some really nice and very full cards from Pretty Posies for those who garden and some from Robin's Red because the rest just so happened to really love blue. I'm glad all of that is taken care of.

Heidi.... sounds like you had good time 'decompressing', other scrappers understand. Glad it was comfort for you after the loss of your Mom.
Did you take pics of your cards? They sound lovely!

Made a pair of pajama pants for Joshy today, worked on my needlepoint, and made a scrapbook page. I consider that a success!

Y'all are making me tired just reading this!

I'd love to see pics of your cards, Heidi, if you have them. I find my craftroom a great place to go when I need some alone time or am feeling stressed. It is so great we have given ourselves permission to "play"!

Ok, all you cat lovers....anyone want a cat? My sweet little kitty brought in a live snake and dropped it on the floor. Before I could get the broom to sweep it out the door it slithered under the base board heat and I can't find it. So, how am I supposed to sleep tonight knowing there is a snake somewhere in my house!

Cat for sale ,

Penny, I'm with you, tired this week/health issues and doing nothing but looking at this forum and some You tube tutorials, trying to learn something until energy kicks in again. Just learning abt wax resist, something new to try for me.

Daria . it probably found its way into the basement? can you leave a door open, may sense fresh air and exit... hopefully before the night!! I wouldn't be sleeping either without duct taping my bedroom door shut !!! LOL
