We'll see how it plays out. These daily specials are probably a stressor as well since they are somewhat new.

Yes on the Daily Specials...would have been happy to have gotten some of the newer ones rather than those from 4 years ago... we shall see what Feb. brings.

While cleaning up after the Christmas rush I came across the Paper Tole kit and decided to make one of the cards. I mostly liked the design of this card and it will be a great one for my SIL but the stark white for the happy birthday didn't sit well with me so I used a script background stamp on the white card stock to match the script in the stars and I like it a lot better. AND yes, I've gotten over my hissy fit...

I need my kit, but the gremlins took it and put it somewhere safe...ugh! I have to get my brothers card in the mail tto him, and he is a musician and artist so I always try to incorporate music into my cards to him. It will be late since no mail Monday...

Well, I found my kit. I followed instructions and made 3 of the cards shown. I. Not like the final one, so am saving the pink heart tole for something special.
I do like the way these cards turned out, and can immediately use them.

I noticed that the Paper Tole is no longer "Premier". I think it was the October kit that had the letter from Paulette which dropped the Premier from the name of the club - that one had the older Christmas paper tole in it with the pine bough paper. She said the kits would have older paper toles in them going forward - but there wouldn't be repeats of what had already been in kits. I dropped the club as I stopped crafting for many months and I don't need to be getting older things that I probably have older had and done. Someone might want to check to make sure I'm correct - my brain is a little foggy. Does anyone keep their instruction sheets?

Thanks for the info Penny. Just checked the newsletter and it was in the December one that it was mentioned that they are no longer Premier. Guess that makes my decision easy. I will be cancelling my membership. I'll just wait to pick up what I might want in the $2 sales. Definitely don't need anymore paper...especially the older thin stuff.

Cancelled!
