Default November PS Dazzles

My November PS Dazzles arrived Saturday. Really nice selection and the projects look like I will enjoy them. Just need to carve out a crafting day for myself!

Mine arrived as well and I agree; there is a nice selection and the papers are nice too!

I like the materials for sure... saw the painted lace papers in a PS Scrapbooking video, and thought - ooh la la. Dazzles look like a useful bunch...

BUT,
designs look to be a bit of a mis-match. those paprs seem to be begging for multi-media (at least a doily or two). 'You're a Gem' card design probably my favorite of the bunch, else - most look like dazzles plopped on paper.

Bright red mirror dazzles on muted olive patterned paper?... brown on that so pretty ombre? eeeeeeks.... plop, plop, fizz.

putting my foot in my mouth for sure - UNLESS, I can throw together some more cohesive designs, eh? On the list for November.
... challenge all you dazzleholics to give it a whirl also!

ps - where are Gail's designs? she's been missing in the last several kits! seems like I typically gravitate toward her projects. Debbie otoh, plop plop - the placing of dazzles on front and especially the interior of magic card, JB rock and Coffee card.... ? totally random.
Perhaps I'm being overly critical, BUT these PS kits - full price for materials and the bang should be in the designs/coordination/cohesiveness of the products and designs. Just don't see it this month.

Since I changed up the card from their idea I had the border PT left over so decided to use it up and make this card. I trimmed the front of the card so that the PT would make a nice edge.

All-righty.... tossing this redesign out there before my December PS kit gets here (I've figured out what to do with all the others for November as well, but, ya know - like Linda, have to start finishing up some non-paper gifts - in my case it's jewelry :0).

First up is Debbie's Magic Card:
what I'm hoping to "fix": plop plop of dazzles front and inside - no focus for the card, Border dazzle is wasted (and not placed evenly/doesn't fit, btw), and interior pattern placement leaves no room for message, unless you're fix'n to use a white gel pen. Card is uninteresting and a waste of a very pretty paper.

the only thing I've added to kit materials are pink jewel dazzles.

Making a copy of your dazzle sheet(s) to use as templates really, really is a "ton of time" saver if you intend to back portions of your dazzles. the bitty portions of the border was a snap!
