Robin, I had to laugh, I have cough, cough many PS kits that I never got to which is why I stopped getting them. I left them all as is with the exception of taking the templates out of them and adding them to my templates binder. I always tell myself I will go back and do them. They seem the perfect thing for the living room while I keep my DH company at night, but no, I end up coloring in my new coloring book instead.

Robin and Penny, you both made me laugh! This was the first dazzle kit that I actually made something from it. I open them cause I'm like a kid at Christmas, then I look at them, then I set them aside and work on other things, then I look at them some more.
I used to get four of the kits, I am down to just the dazzles one.

That's exactly what I do Daria. but sometimes when I need a card really quickly I grab a kit and make one that is in the instructions. I prefer the ones that use mostly stuff in the kit so I don't have to look for stuff!

Penny I keep coloring too. When I am tired especially. I can sit in front of tv and just color. Is that considered crafting?

Robin, that sure is crafting! It is crafting for the soul or sanity, depending on how you look at it.

Dazzle Dames - Please, please, please tell me there is a trick to this! (I thought backing dazzles was persnickety?!? - p-shaw). Spent 30 minutes placing, pulling, placing, pulling...P&P many many times last night until I could live with the result. If you look closely there is still a couple of crinkles in the leaves... ugh - but finally had to raise my hands and give up before the dazzle lost its stick.

I haven't tried mine yet but that is so pretty. It doesn't look bad to me!

Lee - I think it looks great! My trick is to spit on the dazzles. Actually, I lick my fingers and apply the spit on the back of the dazzle so it's not so sticky yet when it dries is stays put. You could use water if you have an aversion to spit.

Thank you Daria, my hero! Spit works for me - I hope, and will definitely give it a try! I finished it up with SUp's Lost Lagoon Card stock for the base and Baja breeze seam binding - honestly, I don't know how yo'all work with PW card base' - just doesn't work for me, sooooo thin! (I'm only working off of the card base materials that come with either the PS Scrapbooking or PS Dazzles).

ps - almost always work in 6 x 4 1/2 finished cards... Just makes better use of 12x12 card stock.
