Default September Kit

Well, PW came through again...as always. Received an apology for last month's mistake, sent a sheet of 12x12 orange card stock and a sheet of red jewel dazzles to make up for the mistake. It's not the papers that were missing but I'm OK with what they did. So this month's kit includes 5 sheets of dazzles. AND I can always use Red Jewel dazzles, especially in my Christmas card making.

already watched the PS product video, awaiting the mail to arrive, collection of dazzles looks intriguing (I'm actually luving the long script black salutation dazzles)... papers are looking a bit boring. BUT, have been wanting to create a video on "dressing up" your projects - think this months kit will be excellent (esp with all the cool stuff from last weeks WOW).

replacement products for last months faux pas work for me also!

My kit didn't arrive yet.

But I did get my VIP package, and I'm always impressed with PW's generosity. So, I do have some really fun stuff to play with while I wait!

I also got my PS Scrapbooking Kit -- I like it a lot this month! There are some really neat ideas and two layouts that I really want to scrap lift.

Suzy -
first, I'm not sure if everyone gets the same VIP goodies (I rec'd Nature's Touch PTole sheet), but, they've got 2 very nice card designs if you watch the product video for Personal Shopper - paper tole - August (still available to watch/photos of finished projects until the next kit is released, even if you don't subscribe)

find they do tend to mix and match across several of the PShopper materials ... so you can enjoy criss-cross projects with whatever kit you're subscribing to. I've also watched 'your' (SB) product video and agree, very pretty - think I will use my dazzles PS kit glitter with trans paste and the leaves stencil (that's a dupe from prev. kits) as they did in the PS SB kit to use on the designs in the PS paper tole projects.. ...... yup = 1 subscription and 2 other shopper video's for inspiration!

That's how I enjoy my morning caffeine and nicotine when they're not airing WOW... trolling Personal Shopper projects!

Have a question... the orange cardstock (extra goodie) in this month's materials... is that PW's std weight for cardstock? For instance, if I were to order a stack of cardstock from PW, that would be thickness?

In general, yes, but they have used different weights over the years so I don't think you can actually know what thickness you will get unless the product description tells you. Not like card companies who have always made particular weight cs.

Made another card from this kit and plan on using for my DD when she runs her first half marathon. I didn't finish the inside because I want to make it different to fit the occasion but not sure yet what I want to do. AND because I'm so creative instead of backing the big dazzle with all the different papers, I backed it on the cream and colored it in with metallic gel pens. OK...so I'm just plain lazy but it did save the hassle of all the little papers to back it with.

That's not lazy - that's artistic license, and working smarter instead of harder!!!!!

agree with Sam, Daria. multi-patterned paper dazzle backing (say that 3 times fast!) is daunting to say the least. Think your backed dazzle is just as striking.
