Default October PS Dazzles

sooo many colors!!
sooo many colors

I'm so guilty of passing up a dazzle for a project because it is the wrong color... eagerly anticipating the 500 or so blue birds in this months kit, very sad- wrong blue.

DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
- rubbing alcohol removes color, leaving silver
- can re-color with ink (have to test what works - sharpies typically great, in this example my blue highlighter did the trick
- just flipping over the dazzle and using the sticky side for glitter/flakes/metallic sheets always an option for anything but words.

just needed those little powder blue birdies: (if you can use 500 brilliant blue birds as is... kudos) - been wanting to do an offset card ever since seeing it on the webisode, this offset doubles as a latch for my fold-over front.

Great job Lee! I personally like them bright blue but it's good to know that they can be changed!

A few "dozen" bright blue - love it, no doubt....
hopefully can remember, next time I'm looking for a lit'l butterfly, flower, heart (all those itty bitty shaped dazzles that I skip over now) to coordinate. For instance, we were just talking about the itty bitty snowflakes in more colors.... guess I had them in ANY color all along.

Anyone else doing anything with the incredibly "youthful" set of materials?
want to say childlike, but I'm positive those of you with young people find it refreshing from the many adult themed papers/dazzles.
Thinking I can put gnomes in my landscape/flower/garden pages, drawing a blank with that metallic red set especially.

I actually wasn't sure what to do with the Gnomes. I actually find gnomes creepy but not creepy enough for Halloween though I might be able to come up with something. Some of the red ones I can see being used for Valentine's Day! I do like the red mirror finish. Haven't done much with this month's kit...to busy, plus not really impressed with it. This is very unusual for me but every once in a while there is a dud...as far as my tastes are concerned. Other's might just love this kit!

I haven't touched the last 5 kits but I still love them! I really loved the little snowflakes a lot!

Well, I found a use for my gnome dazzles from this month's kit. As we were hiking some trails we came across a gnome village someone had set up in a clearing. I took pictures and a scrapbook page is coming and I will use the dazzles for some elements.
