Default Dazzle backing... T&T

Decided to make it's own thread since I'm still fine tuning the process.

So last month....
copy the dazzle sheet to create a template... use template to create backing pieces:

1) So many roses, I opted to EZDot the entire template to the "peach" Dec paper and snip out roses. I'll use the same template to do the other sections/dazzles that need backing (already partially cut).

2) Bring the paper to the dazzle, because you can! Lay dazzle face down (sticky side up). Your cut piece is going to match exactly, so carefully lay on top of the dazzle in the right spot. Why is this cool? no dazzle sticking to your tweezers/fingers, no dazzle bending and warping. Try it. you might need to pull and stick 1 or 2 times - but ain't nothing like the nightmare of taking a delicate large dazzle to paper!.... I'm thinking I can take my black border oval dazzles out of the "never use these again" pile.

speak of the devil.... tried using these once before and was pulling my hair out before I had to settle on a placement.

but, a few more thoughts
- no matter how you back- working inside out, keeps trimming to a minimum.
- easy to be selective on those heavily shaded patterns. the backing for the frame (and leaves) I wanted to come from the darker areas. no-problem-o.
