Default High School Grad. - need ideas for a display board

Hi All,

I'd like to make a display board for my "little sister" to display at her HS graduation party. Do you have any unique ideas to help me get started OR can you post a sample of something you've done? She does not participate in sports, but is in the Spanish Club and Academic Superbowl.

Thank you, Debbie

What about a scoreboard showing her team winning the game (of life).

The board I did for my nephew was actually pages to an album. I made an 8 x 8 album and scotch taped all the pages to three different display boards. Then after the open house they were taken down and were able to be put in an album. The only thing is with this we had to have twice as many page protectors as pages cause you could only put one page per sheet. But it turned out very nice and was a hit.

When my kids graduated, I put their awards, photos from prom, and other fun photos of friends, etc, into 12x12 page protectors on solid papers that were in the school color scheme and put those into a top load album and placed that on the cake table... everyone wants to look at the cake, so then they look at the album too. I have seen others use similar ideas to create a board and put that in the food/buffet room near the cake. The cake becomes a decoration too! Cords from graduation can hang on your board. PENNANTS are a BIG hit right now, and PW makes a large sized pennant template... you can wing it and create your own using similar shapes. Sounds like a wonderful thing to do for your sister! So happy you love her enough to help out like that, and I know she will be thrilled!

I didn't do a display board, but I did make a simple 12 x12 page for the kids with their senior pic on it in the school colors and it was with the cake. I asked everyone to write words of wisdom for the future on them. I was amazed and touched at some of what was written. I'm sure, in time, they will appreciate them.
