Default I love these kits!!!!!

I have a ton of these bought from the MW at PW, and now have a subscription to the kits.

One of the nicest things I like is the fact while the ideas are great, its the fact you can venture out quickly in different direction with the very same base idea.

One of the things I would like is to see the paper pieces on a CD as pdfs so we can use the colors again (If I find paper I like I BUY a lot of it) . The other reason is I have made mistakes while trying to follow the instructions, basically ruining the chance of making that card.

The other thing would be to see the cards done in vids (again on a CD)

I would even pay extra for this.

There are several CDs that have videos on cardmaking in the catalog. I think the most recent is the Folded and Fabulous...

Default But it would be nice to have it with the kit

As odd as it sounds - I have a hard time with instructions, and sometimes become very confused. I would love to watch someone else put the card together, especially things like cutting out pieces, layering, working with different papers that never quite end up looking like the actual final piece.

The shaped cards CD has lots of the shaped cards from past kits on it with instructions. I agree though.. it would be nice to have video instructions for the cards. Sometimes the written instructions are a bit confusing especially for the complicated folded cards or parts of cards.

I agree that reading and completing the instructions is at times difficult. I had that problem when I was a Cardmaker Personal Shopper. I was enrolled in that program for about 6 months and 3 of those packages I made errors mis-reading the instructions. However, one thing I learned was that most of the time, papercrafting is forgiving and I could find a way to cover the error and complete the project effectively. A PW video online for Cardmakers PS members only might be an alternative to a personal CD. Just a thought.

Or you could watch the Odd Show Live dailies where I've been making cards from a personal shopper kit all week and making extra cards with the leftovers , granted this was this weeks challenge for me to get my creativity going but I had so much fun I might do it again in the near future. I used a Personal Shopper from March 2008 I also made ATCs as you can see from the pictures
