I usually try to make a few, but this year was crazy so I was only able to make the one. I don't have a pattern for a penguin. I will probably just google a picture and base it off of that.

Kim, you did a great job with the rocking horse. I haven't seen quilling done as a 'stand alone' project. I love the look of quilling but haven't tried my hand at that. You've inspired me to make that a goal in 2014.

I sense an opportunity for a quilling tutorial! Really cute Kim. I didn't know you could make stand alone quilled objects either. What a great use of the art.

I didn't know you could make stand alone quilled items either until I went to 2 web sites. One is Quilling Superstore and the other is Quilled Creations. There's a kit to make them. One set is a bride and groom. Very cute. I like the Quilling Superstore best. The other site has videos for certain items. I want to do more quilling this new year. Judi

I know. There's several things that I want from PW. I found the other 2 sites when I was looking for instructions for roses that weren't made for a mensa person. Judi

Quilling supplies are one of the things that sit under my desk in my craft room. I haven't used those in a while, maybe I will pull those out in the new year. I made a wonderful frame for a scrapbook page of one of my grandsons years ago, still love that page.

That is so cute, Kim! Hmmmm... perhaps I will do quilled ornaments for next year. I have most of the supplies already.
