Karen: your card is lovely, I really like the fairy touching the butterfly.
Judy: your card is so cute, I love that stamp, so touching.

Good job on both those cards ladies!

Judy, your card is lovely. I'm sure the card counts, the paper is from PaperWishes. I love that stamp, it's on my wish list.

LOVE it, Judy! I wondered about using the Gypsy Jewels, also. I have a couple of ideas and sure hope I can get around to doing them today. 2014 has started out BUSY for me...lots of company and things going on, and even a couple of memorial services already.

Ha Ha, Judy, I had the same thought to use the Gypsy Jewels paper - and you are right, when I re-read the challenge, it may not qualify. Nonetheless, your card is really sweet! Thanks for sharing. I hope to have something to post later... we shall see. It will be my reward for doing something I have been putting off for 2 weeks... off to work.

Default ombre challenge

Ok here's mine. I used glossy paper and distress inks: chipped sapphire, broken china & stormy sky. I cut it out with a spellbinders die and placed it on a card covered with Sarahpapers (sort of a bluish-purple) and inked the edges. I placed the bird paper tole (from PW but don't know name) to the lower left over a pink ribbon from the crepe ribbon set. [it looks much more purple or reddish here, but matches the flower's pink perfectly) and added a dazzles greeting to the top. --Ruthie

Judy, I think that works just fine, very cute card. I love those Janie's Girlfriends stamps, too. They are a new addition to my already long, long wish list.

PJ, I like your card. Every time I try that technique I end up with everything blended together instead of a wave effect. I applaud your efforts.
