Default December Die

What does every one think of the December Die? I was very disappointed because I was expecting the leafy flourish that was advertised as the December die on the back of the November newsletter.

You know, when I got this kit it didn't seem right and that is why, I was expecting the flourish as well. Not that these won't get used....

Huh..... I wasn't even aware that there was a swap... I have been so busy with Christmas I hadn't really thought about it. I have already put my die to use making some Christmas gift tags! The largest one is perfect to stamp on and make tags. The little 'hump' at the top and bottom is perfect for punching a hole for tying on a package.... so.. I wasn't disappointed.....
God bless

I was looking forward to the leafy flourish as well. I do like the dies in this set, but already have many of these kinds of dies already. It's hard to opt-out for a month when a different set is put in without notice. That happened with the PS for Templates a month or so back. I'd really like it if they would keep the "upcoming kits" listing for each PS available and up-to-date.

There is a previous thread on this month's die and it seems we were all surprised, but I can't say I was disappointed. I really liked this month's "swap" and think it depends on what other dies you already have in your collection. With this set I feel I got more 'bang for my buck'. It would be nice to know why they swapped the selection. I'm really looking forward to next month's butterfly dies so I hope that's what is sent.

I'm with KarenH, I like this set. I have lots of flourishes so I wasn't disappointed that this is what we received. I also hope we get the butterfly set.

I believe that I may have been misunderstood; I like the December dies that we received but I really wanted that flourish. I am pretty new to dies and do not have hardly any flourishes at all. Thanks for listening (reading).

I really liked the December dies and was not disappointed with them at all but I was wondering why they switched. My guess would be that there was a problem with either the design or production. It would have been nice to have had a heads up.

The same thing has happened a couple times since I've been in Templates Plus and both times we received the templates in a later kit.

My curiosity got the better of me, too, as to why the switch in the dies. I contacted Debbie to ask that question and if the viney die would be in a later shipment. I haven't received an answer yet. I see that die was one featured on this week's webisode.
