Oops, I did it again!!! I made a beautiful scenic card and put it on the card base upside down! Luckily, Undu undoes things like that! I tell ya, that stuff is gold!

So what does everyone do with all the OOOPS in your craft room? Do you throw them out? Do you save them for a more inspiring day? I have about a 3" stack of cards that are failed projects. I really hate to loose the elements on them but some are not salvageable.

I regularly make my card only to realise that it opens the wrong way!! So my quick fix is to mat it onto another card making sure it's the right though!!

It would be a miracle if none of us ever made boo boos on our projects. I can't even name those I've made...too many to count. The upside down or backwards cards are probably the most frequent occurring ones. I often duplicate purchases, but thankfully have friends who will either purchase them from me or trade for something else. Another biggy is gluing down the cover paper prior to reading instructions on some cards and realize there is a brad or something that needs to be hidden behind that paper before it is glued down. THOSE are the times that zots come in handiest!

My upside down, backwards, what was I thinking cards go to my boys that I know don't keep them! I get credit for being a good mom (especially if there is some $ in the card for my grad student son) and no one else sees the oops!

I stamped the message inside the FINISHED card UPSIDE DOWN. Put in a clean piece of white card stock to cover it up and restamped it correctly. (spell check just told me that there is no such word as restamped so I told it to add it into their dictionary anyway.

LOL! This is all so fun to read! I do all the same things also. Upside down or backwards you name it. I try to salvage it if at all possible otherwise it just goes into the trash. The duplicate buying thing is my worst. I'm trying to get better at that. Not to long ago I was placing an order on PW & decided to look at Mom's Warehouse Sale before placing the order. Added a cute stamp to my order on a whim. When the box of goodies arrived I saw that I already had the stamp!

Unhappy

I think the worst thing I have done was forgetting to put the cutting mat under my work when using a knife to cut and destroyed my craft sheet.
