Default February Week 3 Challenge -Due Feb.22

Eek! I just realized I didn't get this posted today! So let's make this a simple one. I will try to put together an example tomorrow. Let's do an oldie but goodie -paper tearing. Experiment with tearing the paper toward you and then away from you. If you've never tone this you do get a different look. One will expose more of the inner core of the paper and one shows more of the outside of the paper. Another fun thing to do is to ink the edge of the torn paper. I think I'm going to experiment with this idea. I was looking at the flowers at Walmart the other day that were out for valentine's day. I've always loved those roses ghat have a variegated edge yo the petals. Especially the yellow ones with a coraledge and the white ones with a pink edge. I think it would be fun to try making one in paper!

As usual use PW productsTo qualify for the monthly drawing please post your entry by midnight Saturday Feb. 22.

Sorry, but are we being challenged to use paper tearing or to paper tear to make a rose? Or are you still working it out?

Wonderful card! Paper tearing is just not something I'm very comfortable with, but I do keep trying and I really like how you did it.

Rhonda, that is definitely a fun, bright card and I actually love it! You should keep it for a friend who really needs a pick-me-up - you will make them smile!

I really love the torn paper effect. I loved bbcmom's elegant look with the color scheme and the Time To Celebrate Dazzles. I also really enjoyed Bootsie's fun dots and stripes.
