It is a great card Karen! Love the colors and especially the flowers and border strips!

Well, here it is. Discovered that Shabby Chic is not my style but it's always fun to try something new. I think it would have looked better if I had been able to color the feather purple but alas, I did not have the right ink to do that. I like the idea of creating background paper with the scoring board. Nancy, thanks for suggesting this. I plan on experimenting some more.
Products used:
1. Black card stock
2. Purple Be Fabulous Dazzles
3. Baby Bling
4. Mystic Feathers Scrapbook Dazzles
5. White card stock
6. Ooh La La paper
7. Left over paper from PS Dazzles
8. Bling on a Roll
9. Silver Staz-on ink
10. Silver Linen paper
11. Border and corner punch

OK, I used a Spectrum Noir pen PL5 on the feather and I like it better. What do you think?

Not sure if this card qualifies but I thought I'd share it anyway. The 1 Day Sale reminded me that I had just about everything they were offering. Decided to use it on this card.
Products used:
1. Bountiful Paper
2. Art Nouveau 3-D papier tole
3. Tiny Tags and Labels template
4. Magical Birthday stamp
5. Just A Little Greeting Stamp
6. Bountiful free download
7. Green Ribbon - would have used green crepe but didn't have enough
8. Gold Jewel Dazzles
9. 4 Circles & 4 Scallops die

well done, Karen! Definitely a different technique. I have not had a chance to work on it, and doubt I will before the deadline. I have a wedding this weekend, so things have been swamped.

Here's mine. I scored and sanded the background using cs with a white core. Stolen Moments paper & die-cuts were used. Also used was the Just a Little Greeting & the Sky Tiny Nymphs stamp, brads, markers, stazon ink & barn red ink.

I'm not as happy with my second card but here it is. I scored & inked the background cs. I used the Serendipity Flowers stamps, Mums dazzles, Color Box Picante ink, black ink & Barn Red Ink, Stolen Moments die-cuts, orange & yellow markers.

Your cards are both great! The first one is so cute and the second one is very elegant.

Everyone's cards are so great. I am going to have to try that background sometime. I especially like the sanded look.

All your cards are wonderful! I like the ink highlighting the score marks, but I also like the sanded look too! Daria, I was happy to see the double bling you used - I have it and haven't figured out where to use it yet!
