I have been reading this over and over and FINALLY found the attached file at the bottom wherein I finally found the sketches! I have been scouring Pagemaps website looking for a page that has a top or bottom sketch that looked like the sample... Very confused, but no longer! Thanks for this challenge, and I see it is due by 8 am 5/5.

Whew, finally finished! This one took many, many hours!
My theme is: What (Who) Inspires Me...
The technique I wanted to focus on was JOURNALING, so I created 3 story cards, placed them in library card style pockets, and created 3 matching "books" to capture my journaling. Each "book" identifies the woman pictured, and how she INSPIRES ME to be a better person.

There are SO many details I took several photos to try to capture them. I hope you enjoy my layout.
Supplies I used are 100% from Paper Wishes:
1. Mirage pp
2. Majestic Mirage Papier Tole
3. Foam Squares and Foam Tape
4. Rhapsody Ribbon
5. Red Baker's Twine
6. Library Card Template (HOTP)
7. Stationary Noted Washi Tape
8. Dazzles: Happy Days (banner), Swirls & Flourishes
9. Stamps: Well Preserved, Heart to Heart
10. Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Writer
11. Petaloo Burlap Flower, black
12. Inks: Black Stazon, brown chalk

Thanks for looking!

I'm going to see if I can do this from my phone. The pictures don't be "pretty" and edited like I would normally do but at least I would get my entry in! Here goes...I used the theme of shat inspired me and used a picture of my granddaughter playing the saxophone. I was a music teacher at one point in my life do I love seeing kids pick up an instrument. But even more I love just seeing each of my grandkids as they learn new things and reach new accomplishments. For my layout I used:

Kindred Spirits papers
Kindred Spirits Dazzles
Color Me music note paper
Various inks
Bling on a roll
Ribbon and journaling card not from PW

I forgot to mention the technique I used. I used one of my favorite matting techniques I learned from a class I took from a stamp company at my local scrapbook store when I lived in CT. You cut little slivers of paper and use them like mosaics. Time-consuming but pretty!

Lovely pages ladies.
Linda - love all the detail in your page
Rhonda - Love the heritage look of your page
Nancy - Love your matting technique.
All of you are an inspiration to me. Thanks for all your encouragement. I had fun this week-end even though it did take me out of my comfort zone.
