Default "Your Story" on sale

The machine "Your Story" is on sale at ohmycrafts.com for $39. These machines bond books for you; I don't know how, heats, I suppose, and I don't know how many pages. They normally sell for $79 so this is quite a sale! They were totally out of the small album covers, which normally sell for about $3.00 so I broke down and bought a small kit for girls. My only grand-child is coming up on 18 months and I am going to make her a little album with photos of the family and some of the things that I know she knows, such as ducks and Elmo; maybe the album will help keep her quiet at church!

Anyway, I am rambling. I can also use the Your Story with my Cricut and use it with the sillouettes (can't spell that word!) and she can have her own grand-ma made coloring book!

Check-it out!

Hi, I saw that one advertised on tv yesterday. I think it heats the binding from the looks of the demo. Saw the one HSN offered as a package with the Cricut a couple of months ago. It looked pretty cool. Judi

Hello Ladies, the Your Story machine is heat activated. You can purchase some of the blank book covers @ CricutMachine.com, go into Lighting Deals and click on clearance. They also have the glue strips that you can put into your own cardstock and glue pages in for your own books.
Have Fun,
Mary

I know this is an old post, but I have a YourStory machine and I love it. I use it mainly for laminating lesson material, but have used it for book binding as well. Last year, I had the kids in my class make books and we used the YourStory to bind them. They thought that was pretty neat. If you don't want to buy the glue strips, you can easily make your own using hot glue.
