Not that I am aware of. There are images you can buy that can be "drawn" by the machine and then vCard yt? But I am not aware of scanning capability.I'll have to look at that link!

I just checked with Silhouette support to ask abt the PIX-Scan technology... it is only compatible with the Cameo and Portrait models, NOT with the older Silhouette SD which I have
so looks like I need to upgrade to keep up with such Cool technology.

On one of my other boards someone posted pics using the PIX-Scan and they were not good cuts, nothing was lining up nicely. She was not happy. I guess, like everything, they are in the process of fixing it.

Oh my goodness, am excited today! My dear hubbie presented me with a new CAMEO Silhouette this morning for my birthday today!!! He asked a couple of days ago and I just mentioned I was thinking of one and I think it was a relief for him to find something that easy to get for me that he bought it last night and they are on sale this week in Michaels , in Canada at least... Just a heads up if anyone else is interested !

Default New Silhouette Cameo disappointment

Well Ladies, as the photo shows it appears I have a lemon...

It is malfunctioning on doing a 2nd cut, cannot follow same path, and is wrinkling sharp corners on first cut. Weird though as the 2nd cut issue seems to happen only on images larger than 9-10 inches.
My Silhouette SD does a much better job !! On the other hand the Cameo can cut chipboard that the SD would not. And I really like the Pause button on the Cameo.
One of the reasons I wanted the Cameo is to cut larger backgrounds for 12x 12 papers, but its not reliable on 2nd cut. I have tried several images and different papers with same result.

I have emailed support but probably won't hear from them on the weekend.
Has any one else had similar issues?

Heather

Please share your respons from Silhouette and how it all worked out. I still haven't figured out my Cameo from Christmas or my Cricut Imagine. Shame on me!
