Just For You — By Laura Nicholas

Designer Tip: Want an easy tip for covering the box? Laura covers the sides of the box when it is folded flat. Then, she trims the edges with an X-acto® knife for a clean finish. You can also ink the edges for an antique look.

Supplies:

Instructions

  1. Cover the top and sides of the take out box with the pink sprigs paper. Trim the edges even with the box and ink. Cut a slit in the center of the top with an X-acto® knife, to allow the handle to slide through.
  2. Trace 12 Bouquet shapes from the Fold & Stack Flowers template onto pink lace paper. Cut out, fold according to the template instructions and ink the edges. Stack and create two flowers. Trace and cut out leaves from the green flourish paper and adhere under the flowers. Adhere to the sides of the box.
  3. Trace 12 Ogee Whiz shapes from the template onto pink lace paper. Cut out, fold according to the template instructions and ink the edges. Add leaves under the flowers and adhere to the front and back of the box.
  4. Trim thin strips of pink sprigs paper and thread through the buttons.  Adhere to the centers of the flowers with Zots™.
  5. Tie small bows of sheer ribbon and adhere near the flowers on the front and back of the box.
  6. Trace a small tag of white cardstock and cut it out. Ink the edges and mat with pink lace paper. Add a greeting to the tag with a black pen. Tie a small bow and attach to the tag with Zots™. Adhere the tag to the top of the box with foam tape.
