Holiday Tag — By: Paris Dukes

Supplies:

Designer Tips: This tag makes an adorable addition to any gift package, or use it as a holiday card focal or an embellishment on your festive scrapbook pages!

Instructions

  1. Find the second largest of the standard tag shapes on the template. Trace the shape onto the back of the color block paper so that most of the tag is red while the bottom 1/2” includes the green border. Cut out the tag and ink the edges with black.
  2. Cut one 3 1/2” length each of green and ivory gingham ribbon and green grosgrain ribbon. Lay each across the front of the tag at varying angles, then wrap the ends around the edges of the tag and secure on the back with tape. Cut out the “Holidays” label from the artwork and ink the edges with black, then glue centered on the tag.
  3. Use the smallest of the standard tag shapes on the template to create a green tag from the green border on the color block paper. Use a black pen to write “To:” and “From:” on the green tag and glue it at an angle at the top of the red tag.
  4. Cut two 5” lengths each of green and ivory gingham and green grosgrain ribbon. Hold the two lengths together and tie a knot in the center, then use a Glue Dot™ to attach the knot to the top of the red tag.
