Designer Tips: Hang these two sweet
slide mounts from your project to create your own falling snowflakes!
This size is great for a winter-themed scrapbook layout, or use a shorter
ribbon length and hang them on the front of a special card. Frame the
snowflake artwork found in Busy Scrapper’s Solution for Vacation
Pages in the windows of the slide mounts, or try the vellum snowflake
tags found in the Slide
Mount Mania idea book!
Instructions
- Tear small pieces (approximately 1/4”
to 1/2” in size) of light blue textured and teal textured papers
and glue them to the white surface of two circular slide mounts.
- Cut a 13” length of light blue sheer
ribbon. Tie one tail to each slide mount by running the tail through
the window of the slide mount and tying around the top edge. Cut out
two circular snowflake tags from the artwork and glue one to the back
of each slide mount, framing the tags in the windows.
- Cut two 6” lengths of light blue
sheer ribbon and tie each into a shoestring bow. Use Glue Dots™
to attach one shoestring bow to the top of each slide mount, layering
it on top of the ribbon that is already tied around the edge of the
slide.
- To attach the slide mounts to your project,
add one silver brad to your project and loop the center of the long
ribbon length around the brad with one snowflake dangling from each
side. Secure the slide mounts on your project with a glue stick, or
use foam tape for dimension.
