Designer Tips: This project can be made in under 10 minutes! That’s right—this
cute frame is a great way gift or party favor. LeNae suggests, “This
is ideal for wedding or baby showers. You could put the person’s
name inside the frame and use it as a place-setting; each guest could
then take it home as a favor. Use different charms to reflect the personality
of the guest.”
All the materials are widely available; check your local Michaels for
supplies. The frames will be in the frame section (LeNae says they sell
for a few dollars each). The porcelain roses and the ribbon LeNae used
are both found in the wedding section of the store. The charms are found
in the paper crafting department.
Instructions
- Apply sealer to the upper left corner of the frame; let dry. The ribbon
and roses won’t stick properly to the varnished surface otherwise.
- Make a loopy bow with eight 1 1/4” loops and two 1 1/2” tails.
Glue the bow to the frame as shown. Glue the roses to the bow center then
glue the charm extending below the roses.
