Designer's Tip: To prevent the glue from showing through on the vellum paper, place the glue strategically under the area that will be covered by the kirigami shape.
Supplies:
Instructions
- Cut a 4 1/2” x 6 “ rectangle from the corner of the foil paper, featuring snowflakes. Cut a 2 5/8” strip of dot vellum and glue across the foil paper top. Mat the foil with a 4 3/4” x 6 1/4” rectangle of glimmer paper. Secure 2 light blue snowflakes over the snowflakes on the foil. Glue the glimmer paper to the card center.
- Trace and cut “Yuri” from glimmer paper and fold around a 2” piece of square foil paper to make the picture frame option. Secure a light blue brad at the center and glue to the center of the vellum strip.
- Print “Warm Winter Wishes” onto white cardstock strips and ink the edges. Arrange and foam tape below the frame.
- Inside the card: Mat a 4 1/2’ x 1 3/4” rectangle of foil paper with glimmer paper, leaving a 1/4” wide border. Glue near the top of the card. Secure a blue snowflake brad with a “To You” greeting printed on white cardstock under the brad.
