Instructions
- Mat your photos on black and trim closely, then mat again on ivory
cardstock. Ink the edges black and let dry. Computer journal on ivory
and mat on black, trimming closely.
- Use a pencil to mark where your journaling and photo will go, then
use the ruler and X-acto® knife to cut slits in the rulers from
the background papers. Slip the photo and journaling under the rulers,
as shown.
- Cut out the ephemera images and alphabet tiles. Attach the “5”
to the ruler with a brad as shown. Add the alphabet tiles to the upper
right corner of the page and use the alphabet stamps to add the year.
Attach the wood pieces to the bottom of the photo as shown.
- Thread grograin ribbon through the rusted key and knot. Attach to
the white ruler at the bottom corner of the photo. Thread the other
pieces of ephemera with grograin ribbon and add around the corners of
the bottom photo, securing to the back.
