Designer Tip: LeNae used playful pastel colors and the sweetest embellishments she could find to create this ice cream-themed layout. She added texture to the page with her own handcrafted ice cream cone, made of corrugated cardstock and layered silk flowers!

Instructions

  1. Use the green dotted paper as the background. Mat a 5"x7" photo on pink cardstock (leaving the left edge unglued) and trim to 1/8". Mat again on lavender cardstock, trim to 1/8" and glue over the left side of the page. Computer journal in pink ink on white cardstock. Glue the journaling behind the unglued bottom left edge of the photo, then finish gluing the photo.
  2. Cut a triangle of tan cardstock that's 5" along two sides and 3" along one side. Run the triangle through the corrugator. Glue the triangle at an angle over the right side of the page with the short edge at the top. Add a polka dot rub-on to a magenta big brad. Layer two pink silk flowers and attach them above the wavy triangle with the polka dot brad in the center.
  3. Computer journal “my guilty pleasure" in pink ink on white cardstock. Mat on lavender cardstock, trim to 1/16" and add a pink brad to the left end. Foam tape the journaling at an angle to the right of the ice cream cone. Tie embroidery floss tails together to form a loop, then loop the floss around the brad on the left of the journaling and Zot™ the loop's knot under the pink silk flowers to keep it hidden.
  4. Add rub-ons to various big brads to spell “indulgence”, then attach the brads across the top of the page.
