Musee de L'Armee — By: Paris Dukes

Supplies:

Designer Tip: Paris chose a rich brown color scheme for this layout, making it perfect for masculine pages and versatile enough for autumn and vacation layouts, too!

Instructions

  1. Place the tan paper with the squares border running along the bottom. Mat a 6 3/8"x2 1/2" piece of brown striped paper (stripes running horizontally) on brown mesh paper, trimming the mat to 1/16" around the top, left and bottom edges and even with the right edge. Glue the right edge even with the right edge of the page, 1" from the top. Mat a 5"x2 1/2" piece of brown striped paper on dark brown mesh paper, trimming the mat to 1/16" around the top, right and bottom edges and even with the left edge. Glue the left edge even with the left edge of the page, 3 1/4" from the top.
  2. Mat a vertical photo on brown mesh paper, trim the mat to 1/8" and glue in the top left corner of the page. Mat a horizontal photo on brown mesh paper, trim the mat to 1/8" and glue under the striped paper in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Use a black pen to journal onto the tan “squares” tag. Add a rust brad to the tab and accent the squares border with rust mini brads. Glue the tag centered over the striped paper piece in the top right corner of the page.
  4. Use a black pen to journal the subject's names, place name and date on three brown tags. Add a rust brad to each tab and glue the tags evenly spaced below the vertical photo.
  5. Accent the outlined squares on the page border with painted square brads and rust buttons attached with Zots™. Accent some of the smaller squares on the page border with rust mini brads.
