Birthday Card for My Sister

by Furbert (more by this designer)

Description from Furbert:

I used a 5 1/2 x 6 inch card. Swiss dot embossed cream card stock for top of card and paper punched 5 lacey strips for bottom of the card. Used a tag templete for the Happy Birthday tag. Die cut large butterfly from gold paper and smaller butterfly from a lavender print paper scrap. Edged all cream papers with wisteria chalk ink. Glued the lacey strips together in step fashion then the dotted swiss paper. Wrapped a piece of lavender ribbon around the card and secured it to back with strong double sided tape. Made a bow with the lavander ribbon and attached it to the metalic gold butterfly (double sided tape again) and then attached the smaller butterfly to the top of bow. Applied glue to back of cream card topper and placed it ontop of the white card. Attached Happy Birthday Dazzle to top of tag and place it on top of card with 3d foam squares. Attached the Butterfly embellishment on top of the card at the ribbon level. sorry I didn't take a picture of inside, I had wrote on it before I thought about taking the picture. It had a large label (embossed dotted swiss with three small gold butterflys and a celebrate dazzle on a small centered tag) all edged with the wisteria ink.
