Make an impression. Stampendous' Deep Impression Embossing Powder comes as larger granules than your regular embossing powder. That means thicker, deeper layers that are great for impressing! This 1/2 oz. jar is filled with so many creative possibilities.

To use it, start by placing a Hot Sheet (link) or a piece of foil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the surface you want to emboss on the Hot Sheet or foil and sprinkle Deep Impression Embossing Powder over it; let melt. Once the clear powder has melted, sprinkle one or more colors of regular embossing powder on top and mix it into the melted clear powder with a toothpick or craft stick...the colored powder will melt into the clear powder! Then just remove the pan from the heat and let the melted powder cool a few seconds, without letting it harden all the way. Ink your stamps and press them into the cooling surface to impress your own words and designs!

Comment What a fun project. (Go to the link to see the fabulous tag you can make.) The tags turned out so great, I just kept making more and more. The tag is something I've never seen in stores, so this powder allows you to create a "one of a kind" embellishment for your cards and scrapbook pages! I've been able to make them to personalize my grandkids' scrapbook pages. Since their names are hard to find on commercial products, they are delighted.
