Get creative with metal! Introducing a very cool new craft from our friends at Ten Seconds Studio: Metal embossing—in minutes! Simply place a mat (link) on a flat surface and set your favorite mold on top. Layer a Rock Star Metal sheet on top of the mold and rub over the top with a Paper Stump (link) to emboss the mold's pattern right into the metal! Leave the metal as is or cut it into any shape you'd like. Finally, use the adhesive sheets (link) to attach the embossed metal right to your scrapbook page, album cover...you name it. You'll have 4 metal sheets measuring 9"x12". Work with them black side up for an embossed pattern in silver.

Comment:  I used this metal to cover the lid of a tin for my daughter's boss. Used the diamond pattern big daddy mold and used a wine motif. Since her boss is a man, I needed to use something that was masculine enough, and this really fit the bill. The tin had a wine theme and made the perfect Christmas present. It looked very expensive, and the dimensional quality of this product really added to that. I'm excited to get the colored metals and experiment with them as well.

Comment:  i love the new idea on embossing indivual metal sheets. ivebeen embossing cards for years but am new at embossing sheets of metsl. beautiful heavy sheets and keep their shape nicely. thank you.

Comment:  This is a great way to add dimension to everything from cards to books. It's easy, quick and fun! You can use alcohol inks to color the metal as well as using embossing powders, etc. The possibilities are endless!
