Cute cupcake borders! Tonic Studios’ Cupcake Border Punch lets you create sweet focals and borders on your birthday and special occasion pages and cards. Simply slip your paper or cardstock into the slot on the side of the punch, then press down on the button to punch the 7/8"-wide cupcake shape. Use it alone or combine it with Tonic Studios' Border System (link) for a perfectly punched border. Tip: If you ever notice your punch becoming dull, just punch a few shapes out of aluminum foil to sharpen.

I love punches & have had my eye on this punch for some time. I make cards in addition to scrapping & think this punch will help me make some really cute birthday cards.

I know it is called a border punch, but a more accurate name would be a border stencil. I thought I was getting a punch that would punch out a cupcake with a candle in it, not just leave behind a stencil of it.

Response from Paper Wishes Customer Service:

Because it is labeled a border punch the stencil look is what works otherwise it would be a series of silhouettes. That would be cute but not how Tonic's border system works. You might try punching out a cupcake and matting the piece on another paper to get the look you're wanting. Hope that helps.
