Punch a pop-up butterfly! Perfect for cards and scrapbook pages, this special punch gives you gorgeous 3-D filigree butterflies—all with the press of a punch. The 1 ¾”-wide punched butterfly looks great when you place a contrasting paper behind it; you can leave it as is, or embellish the space between the wings with wire, beads or a row of crystal stickers. Use a black pen to doodle a flight pattern or antennae on your paper. From Tonic.

Tip: If you ever notice your punch becoming dull, just punch a few shapes out of aluminum foil to sharpen.

Comment:  I love the butterfly punch. It is so cute to fold up the wings on the front of cards. I wish I could turn the image different directions and I wish it had a longer reach. Otherwise I love the punch.
