Tip of the Day

Day 1: Why not give the gift of crafting time this Christmas? A “coupon” for a day of card-making, scrapbooking or jewelry-making with a crafting pal (or one who doesn’t craft—yet) makes a thoughtful gift.

Charming paper chains. These delicate paper chains are easy to make with the new template from designer Susan Niner Janes. Embellish scrapbook pages, accent cards or decorate tags, mini books and other paper crafts with these pretty paper chains. Simply trace and cut the desired number of links—use the same paper, or combine different papers. (We recommend using an X-acto® knife or small scissors to cut the inside portion of the links.) Template includes 5 different link patterns, plus diagrams and instructions. The finished result is beautiful!

Comment I like all the templates in Paperwishes. They are easy to use and will give you projects that extra special touch. These were a little harder to cut out than most because of the middle section.

Comment These add a great touch to cards and scrapbook pages. Need to use an exacto knife to get clean cuts in some areas.

Comment These are pretty neat. They are a bit difficult to cut out completely "neat" but the idea is fantastic. I'm sure that given time, they will come up with a punch just like they did the flowers (but then the cost has to be taken into consideration).
