Stunning star cards! Amaze friends and family with this lovely folded star card! This versatile template makes it easy to create a darling star-shaped card that’s larger than life: 6 1/2" and easy to cut out! Simply trace the star shape onto a piece of 12"x12" paper, then cut and fold to create your card. Embellish with a brads for a finishing touch. Template includes:

Giant star card shape
A mini star shape to accent your card
2 tag shapes to attach to the top of your folded card
Trace-able swirls to embellish the flaps or inside of the card
Trace-able lines for writing your message inside the card

Complete folding instructions, plus 5 embellished card ideas are included. Designed by Susan Niner Janes.

Comment:	I bought all 4 giant card templates and received them yesterday. I've made 8 cards already and LOVE them!!:) They are all easy to use and the webisode tip to leave space under the brad for tucking petals back in was really helpful. The fold-it flower is beautiful, but doesn't make a good card in my opinion because of the small center space. I'm using that one as a package topper w/gift tag!

Comment:	These made up into pretty Halloween and Thanksgiving cards so far, and I see great possibilities for the holidays ahead. So easy...even for someone who dislikes cutting. Also like the added feature of the tags inside, the small matching template as well as scrolls for use.

Comment:	I love the Giant Star but I'm having trouble making it user friendly for someone to receive, open, read and close again. When you close with the mini star, it leaves very little room for sentiments, and I don't want the recipient having to take the brad in and out. Any suggestions? Also, on the star, it says you can use a 6 X 6 envelope. That is too small, as the diameter of the completed star is 6 1/2". Response from Paper Wishes Customer Service: You can use the inside of the "petals" to write longer sentiments. If you feel the mini star makes it harder to open, you can leave it without anything in the center or attach a tag with the opening directions. I hope that helps. And actually the template refers you to the 6"x6" Portfolio (#4000618) which will hold the Giant Star Card.

Comment:	I made a halloween card the same day as I received the template. It's adorable. And so easy. The very fast service; as usual, was terrific. There have been mentioned in other comments of more giant templates..........maybe I'm missing something. I'd like to know more about the others, too. Thanks, Paper Wishes for your great service and your huge variety of items from which to choose. Response from Paper Wishes Customer Service: Right now we have four Giant Card Templates: Star, Flower (#4007342), Spiral (#4007341) and Fold-it Flower (#4007343). The last two will be featured in the Jan. 2009 Paper Wishes. All four are shown in the idea book 80 Template Techniques (#4002342).
