I bought just one color to see if the suede paper is the same as the velour paper I used to get. I used to use oil pastels on the velour paper which looked like the oil paintings on velvet, and I have been unable to find it anywhere. This suede paper is like the velour paper I used to get except a bit lighter. I will be ordering other colors. I wish I could find a royal blue suede paper as I have several samples I made using that color. All in all this paper is great.

I bought not only the iris suede paper, but also the red, black, snow, violet, forest, navy, burgundy, smoke and mocha ~ AND it was a second or third order of all of them! I truly LOVE using these papers - my favorite kind! I use them for card-making (especially Christmas cards), sometimes for background mats and sometimes for the featured image, but however they are used, they are BEAUTIFUL - elegant or whimsical, depends on YOU! They cut EASILY in my Big Shot machine with Spellbinder dies (like a knife through warm butter, and better than some cardstock), AND they EMBOSS beautifully in the machine, also! I sometimes cut them with my paper trimmer or with my rotary cutter, usually with the deckle blade, and it is so easy - always resulting in neat, crisp edges. They are amazingly versatile and visually dramatic, and I always look forward to using them!
