DAYS UNTIL CARDMAKING
WEEK OF WEBISODES:

Tip of the Day

I was helping my granddaughters (age 7 and 3) make birthday cards for their mother. When they were finished, I took a picture of each of them holding their completed cards, printed the pictures from my computer and attached each picture to the inside of each card. I added the date and the age of each child as well. Many years from now, when my daughter comes across these cards (I know she'll save them!), she'll be able to see the beautiful faces of her young children, proudly displaying their lovingly created "masterpieces"! — Judy

Far East Treasures

Treasures with a touch of the Far East: A shimmery piece of mica, tiny mah-jong tiles and a miniature key. The mica is a natural occurring mineral made of lots of very thin layers. Start peeling at one corner to lift off a layer. We found the layers peel more easily if you breathe on it as you peel. You can use the mica layers to highlight a word or piece of art in your paper craft. Attach the mica, mah-jong and key with Zots™ or The Ultimate Glue™.
