Beautiful birdies! This versatile template is perfect for adding a sweet touch to your cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more—add a little birdie to a spring-themed layout, or create dimensional birds as gift tags or ornaments and mobiles. Mix and match the body and wing shapes for a variety of looks. Simply trace and cut out the bird shape, then cut a slit to fit the wings; trace, cut and fold the wing shapes and slide them through the slit. Darling! Experiment with patterned paper, vellum or specialty papers—the birds also look great when you ink the edges for extra dimension.

Template is made of clear plastic with grid lines for precise placement and is 3-hole drilled for easy storage in a binder. From designer Susan Niner Janes

Comment:  This is great and had so much fun making all kinds and color of birds. Great for scrapbook pages and cards. I can't tell you how many I made when I got this stencil. Once I started making the birds I couldn't stop. My scrapbooking friends (we meet once a week to scrapbook and card making)just loved them and started using all my birds I made. It is great.

Comment:  I thought I would make stuffed ornaments, especially for a Christmas tree or for a special little present for someone who needs a special something that is 'special'. They'd be really cool if made out of felt then bead embroidery on them, using feathers for the wings and tails.

Comment:  This is by far the easiest pattern, yet producing some very intertricate design work, with just a few strokes for some feathers here and there, changing to any color for any bird, you can re-create so simply, its amazing, rewarding and so much fun. And shhhh don't tell anyone how easy it was for you. I myself, always have a bird chart next to my work station, I love birds, can you tell? Smiles
