Warm Wishes Card
Warm Wishes Card
By Ann Barba
Designer's Tip: Always print your words on the papier tole layer(s) before layering them with foam tape (you can't send foam tape through the printer)!
- Place your card with the fold on the left. Glue 4 3/4"x6 1/4" of brown snowflake paper to the center. Mat 4 3/4"x1 3/4" of purple snowflake on white cardstock, leaving a 1/16" border on the top and bottom. Mat again on blue pattern, with a 1/4" border on the top and bottom. Mat again on white with a 1/16" border on the top and bottom. Glue the strip to the card 1 1/2" from the top.
- Print a greeting on the circle piece on the papier tole. Assemble the rest of the papier tole image using foam tape. Glue the image to the card centered over the purple strip as shown. Add small Jewel Dazzles around the circle evenly spaced as shown. Tie a small bow with ivory crepe ribbon and Zot to the bottom right of the circle. Rub a little Tacky Glue on the end of the gold sparkle twine so that the gold doesn't unravel. Tie a bow and apply some Tacky glue to the other end. Glue the bow to the center of the ivory crepe bow as shown.
- For the inside: Glue 4 3/4"x6 1/4" of brown snowflake to the center. Mat 4 3/4"x1 1/2" of blue pattern on white cardstock, leaving a 1/16" border on the top and bottom. Glue to card 2" from the top. Print "With Love" on 2"x1 1/2" of white cardstock and mat on purple, leaving a 1/4" border. Mat on white leaving a 1/16" border. Glue to card 1/2" from the right and 1 1/2" from the bottom.
- Punch out the "Cold Hands Warm Heart" banner and the three extra snowflakes from the papier tole. Mat each on white cardstock, leaving a 1/16" border. Glue the snowflakes above the greeting as shown, and add silver Jewel Dazzles outside of each of the points of the snowflakes. Glue the small banner overlapping the bottom left of the greeting. Place small Jewel Dazzles on either end of the banner and at each corner of the greeting as shown. Make 2 small bows from gold sparkle twine, using Tacky Glue to keep the ends from unraveling. Glue the bows to the top left and bottom right of the greeting as shown.
