Designer's Tip: The penguin Dazzles are adorable! Back them with white cardstock and color them in easily with Spectrum Noir pens.

  1. Position your card with the fold on the top. Cover card with Winter Delights blue dot paper with the birds border covering about 1 1/4" of the left side. Cut 6 1/2"x1 1/2" of white cardstock and draw a blue (pen #IB3) line across the top. Glue across the bottom. Cut 6 1/2"x1 1/4" of Winter Delights red dot paper and ink edges. Glue across the top. Ink all edges of the card with black ink and a cosmetic sponge.
  2. Place the igloo and penguin with snowballs onto white cardstock and add color with the following Spectrum Noir Pens: snow/ice: IB3; Christmas lights: CR9, GB6, CR3; scarf: IB3, CG3; hat: CR9, IB3; beak: GB6. Cut around the Dazzles, then glue the igloo 3/4" from the left and bottom and glue the penguin 1" from the right and bottom.
  3. Place the snowflake border along the bottom of the red strip as shown. Cut 1 3/4"x1 1/4" of white cardstock and place "Winter Fun" in the center. Ink edges and glue to card over the snowflake border, 2" from the right.
  4. For the inside: Cut 5"x1 1/2" of blue dot paper and ink edges. Glue to card centered, 1 1/4" from the bottom. Cut 5"x3/4" of red dot and ink edges. Glue to card centered 3/4" from the bottom. Back a small penguin with white cardstock and color with the following Spectrum Noir pens: beak: GB6; scarf & earmuffs: CG3, CR9. Cut out the penguin and glue to card 2 1/4" from the bottom and 1 1/4" from the left. Back 2 gift boxes with red dot and glue to the top right of the blue dot piece as shown. Place "Snowy Day" 1" from the top and 2" from the right. Add 2 large snowflakes to the upper right and lower left of the words as shown.
