Designer Tip: This vintage receipt holder is quick, easy, and fun to do! It has clamps with springs that will hold photos and tags in place. You can vary the look with more photos, color photos, or different papers and ribbons; and change the theme by using different pieces of ephemera and word tags.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Use ink and torn edges to distress the tags and ephemera. Line a few or more of the rectangular shaped compartments with patterned paper or torn pieces of paper, then add distressed tags, ephemera, and matted photos.
  2. Use the clamps to secure the pieces, or glue in place beneath the clamps. Tie the tags and clamps with ribbons, and add ribbons or rick rack to the compartments to decorate them as you wish. Embellish the clamps and tags with gears and charms, and Zot in place.
  3. Glue a trimmed photo to fit beneath an optical lens, then tie to a clamp with ribbon. Finish by adding a ribbon bow and charm to the top of the chain hanger.
