Designer Tip: Drawing tangles is really fun and even relaxing! You can also add chalks, inks, glitter, etc to decorate your designs. Use the template to draw shapes on the card front, then draw tangle patterns inside the shapes with the pen. There are step-by-step directions for lots of tangle patterns in the book, and you might even be inspired to create your own!

Supplies:

• 6"x6" Ginkgo Template
• Part not in database (may have been discontinued): #4007080
• Black .01 Precision Pen
• Timeless Decorative Brads
• 8"x8" Cardstock for Princess Papers
• White Cards & Envelopes
• 3-D Foam Squares Variety Pack
• White cardstock, black cardstock
• Black grosgrain ribbon
• Computer printer optional
• Font: Sudestada

Instructions:

1. 1) Mat a 4 5/8"x6 1/8" pink cardstock rectangle on black cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border. Use the template and a pencil to trace the leaf shapes on the pink cardstock as shown.
2. 2) Follow the directions in the book for drawing pencil lines within the shapes to separate them into sections. Use the black pen and the tangle patterns in the book to draw tangles inside the leaves. When you come to a line, you'll draw a different tangle. I filled in the stems with lines and dots for a finishing touch.
3. 3) Glue ribbon across the rectangle, 3/8" from the bottom. Add brads to ribbon as shown. Cut a small pink tag and write or computer print "hello" on the center. Mat on black, leaving a thin border. Add a ribbon tab and glue to the card as shown.
4. 4) With the card fold at the left, glue the matted rectangle centered on the card front.
