Designer's Tip: Use a stipple brush to pounce brown ink around the outer edges of the tag for an aged look.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place the Post Card on a covered work surface and stipple brown ink heavily around the edges. Stamp a black cat on the lower left side and a red bird cage on the right.
  2. Stamp "Thinking of You" greeting in black above the cat. Stamp a large red heart with a tiny black heart overlapping the bottom left corner.
  3. Use the swirl stamp from the Greetings set to stamp around the outside edges of the card, alternating different ends of the stamp. Place a scrap piece of paper on the left side of the card, the straight edge flush with the center line. Stamp several swirl stamp over the "masked" area, stamping only the right side of the center line.
  4. Cut two 6" lengths of twine and hold together as one. Thread the center through the tag hole and form a loop, threading the twine ends through the loop.

I love the Felinus stamp. The top hat gives the impression this cat is of aristocracy linage. However, the little cage bird has the advantage in his caged abode.
