Designer's Tip: Foam tape die cut flowers over printed flowers to create dimension and even change the direction or colors of existing printed flowers.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place the card fold on the top. Cover the card front with Red Velvet red swirl paper. Ink the edges of 4 3/4"x6 1/4", taken from the top corner of the floral border paper. Glue to the card front.
  2. Cut 4 3/4" from the dot border and thread with green satin ribbon, gluing the ends at the back. Glue the border to the right side of the card. Zot( a green bow to the top.
  3. Glue the red greeting to the left of the border and foam tape a green butterfly to the top left corner and green flower/swirl to the bottom right. Foam tape a large red flower to the left and 2 smaller flowers above and below.
  4. Inside: Glue 5"x 2 1/2" Red Velvet black dot paper across the center the inside back. Glue the red dot circle frame to the center. Foam tape the "Celebrate" cut out over the a green die cut label and place at the center.

I have just made this card, bought the red velvet card kit months ago and have just got round to using it today. Have made six cards today and thoroughly enjoyed it, the colour schemes are absolutely lovely.
