Designer Tip: Make a halo effect with the chalk ink by leaving some white around the label, and on the background.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Card front: Place your card with the fold on the top and cover with Fanciful Feathers Color Me™ sparkles paper. Use the stylus and pads to ink the corners and center area of your card front with Splash ink, using a circular motion. Leave a “halo” of white around the center area and wipe the ink off of the embossed areas with a paper towel, as you go.
  2. Cut out a 6 1/2” length of the Color Me™ border strip and trim along the edges of the outline. Ink the center of the strip with Splash and the outer edges with Concord. Foam tape across the center of your card.
  3. Cut out the round Color Me™ label. Ink the center area with Concord, leaving it white at the center and ink the outer edges with Dark Peony. Use VersaMark™ to stamp “We’ll be FRIENDS forever” on the center of the label, dust with embossing powder and set with the heat gun. Foam tape on the center of the border strip. Cut out two Color Me™ extra artwork medallions and ink one with Splash, the other with Dark Peony, leaving white at the center. Foam tape both in place, as shown.
  4. Zot™ a bow with the ends cut in a “V” and add Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
  5. Card inside: Cut out a 5” length of the Color Me™ border strip trim along the edges of the outline. Ink the center of the strip with Dark Peony and the outer edges with Concord. Glue down the center of your card.
  6. Cut out the 3 1/2”x2 5/8” Color Me™ label. Ink the center area with Dark Peony, leaving it white at the center and ink the outer edges with Splash. Stamp and emboss “You are AMAZING” on the center of the label. Foam tape on the center of the border strip. Zot™ a knot of ribbon with the ends cut in a “V” and add Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
